FlowWeave Bioseal® Woven Polyester Vascular Graft
The FlowWeave Bioseal® is a high-performance woven vascular prosthesis specifically engineered for thoracic and abdominal aortic reconstructions.
1. Product Overview
The FlowWeave Bioseal® is a high-performance woven vascular prosthesis specifically engineered for thoracic and abdominal aortic reconstructions. Manufactured with state-of-the-art weaving techniques, it features high burst strength and exceptionally low dilatation, providing a secure and durable solution for vascular replacement.
2. Core Technologies
Bioseal® Impregnation: An aldehyde- and isocyanate-free impregnation process using dehydrothermally crosslinked collagen. This technology ensures the graft is primarily blood-tight, eliminating the need for pre-clotting during the surgical procedure.
Advanced Weaving Technique: The specialized construction guarantees high mechanical stability and minimal post-operative expansion, maintaining the anatomical integrity of the reconstruction.
Texturized Yarn: The use of specially texturized polyester yarns promotes superior tissue incorporation and supports long-term healing characteristics.
Concentric Crimping & Guideline: The concentric crimping provides excellent flexibility and kink resistance, while the printed guideline ensures precise and safe positioning at the surgical site.
3. Technical Specifications
Material: Woven Polyester.
Impregnation: Bioseal (Collagen-based, aldehyde/isocyanate-free).
Configuration: Straight tubes.
Diameter Range: Available from 8 mm to 34 mm.
Length Options: Standard lengths of 15 cm and 30 cm.
4. Clinical Advantages & Indications
Exceptional Handling: The graft is characterized by its extraordinarily soft and pliable texture, allowing for easy needle penetration and excellent suturing characteristics.
Biocompatibility: The texturized surface structure is designed to optimize blood flow and facilitate healthy cellular ingrowth.
Indications: Indicated for the treatment of arterial aneurysms and vascular occlusions. Primary applications include vascular replacement in the thoracic and abdominal aortas, as well as peripheral applications in vessels with a diameter of at least 6 mm.
